Hugo House 30/30 Writing Challenge

Up For The Challenge!

A few years ago, I made an attempt at NaNoWriMo…and I did…ok-ish.  I think I managed a little over half the work and I definitely didn’t finish my book.  I still love the idea of writing challenges, but I realistically can’t commit to something huge. Between work, my tiny cookie company, and dancing, I really like to dedicate the little bit of free time I have left to hanging out with CJ. So yeah…no huge writing projects for me for now.

But I’m totally game for a smaller project!

A coworker is taking a class at Hugo House and discovered the 30/30 Writing Challenge. Quick summary: Write for 30 minutes every day in October to raise money for Hugo House and it’s programs. Brilliant, right?  It’s the perfect amount of commitment and I still have an excuse to write everyday.  Instead of working on a book or a piece of fiction, I’m going to use this as an opportunity to write a blog post every day. (And no, this one doesn’t count!)
